Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, to ensure the optimal performance of vehicles and equipment.
2. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles and equipment through visual inspections, diagnostic tools, and test drives.
3. Conduct necessary repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
4. Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot complex problems accurately.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with potentially hazardous machinery and equipment.
6. Document all repair work and services performed accurately for record-keeping purposes.
7. Provide estimates of repair costs and timelines to customers and communicate effectively about repair options.
8. Order necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintain inventory levels.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements to improve skills and knowledge.
10. Collaborate with other team members to maintain an organized and efficient workshop environment.
11. Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive mechanics is preferred.
2. 310S license is a very strong asset.
3. Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
4. Strong technical knowledge of various vehicle systems and their components.
5. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
6. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
9. Effective communication and customer service skills.
10. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
11. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
