Job Description

BDP Rentals and Contracting Inc. is a small business in Torbay, NL A1K 1A6. We rent, service, sell and inspect many different types of construction equipment and tools.


We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in any mechanical repair and maintenance, and will be able to, with provided training, diagnose and repair any issues that arise On our own equipment as well as customer equipment. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual who can help us keep our large fleet of Scissor/ Boom Lifts, Telehandlers, Forklifts, Vehicles, and many other pieces of equipment running smoothly.


Responsibilities:

  • Repair or replace worn parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance on various equipment.
  • Keep records of work performed on equipment.
  • Inspect and test equipment (with provided training) to diagnose problems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, hydraulic systems and steering.



Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
