What you need to know:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will maintain and monitor all inventory movement through various locations within the warehouse. You will assist with shipping and receiving to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment.
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Wage: $20.43 (potential for up to $25/hr if FL certified & health Canada security clearance)
Location: Delta, BC
Start Date: ASAP
Transit accessible & parking available
PPE required: Steel toe boots
Double vaccination status required

Responsibilities

• Lifting involved - 50 lbs
• Enable operations team to create packaged cannabis
• Sit-down counterbalance FL operation if certified
• Training on data entry for inventory purposes
• Electric/Manual pallet jack operation
• Maintain warehouse to an efficient standard
• Receiving/Preparing skids for delivery - outbound shipments
• Maintain and monitor inventory movement through various locations within the warehouse
• Enable logistics team to fulfill packaged cannabis

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be expected to receive a background check as part of their employment
• Clear reference and criminal record check
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with MS Office suite of products
• Security Clearance (Health Canada) is a plus
• Must be a self-starter – there’s no shortage of work to be done, so we’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait around to be told what to do
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience within warehouse, focusing on receiving and preparing deliveries
• Cannabis/greenhouse experience is a HUGE asset
• You’re able to quickly and effectively solve problems that arise
• Proof of double vaccination status
• Be available to start work at 7:00am; Monday to Friday
