Position Summary


We are PCI. Our investment is in People who make an impact, drive progress and create a better tomorrow. Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI. The Master Data Lead plays an integral role in the success of that mission and helps drive Order to Cash enhancements. The Master Data Lead will drive the centralization of critical master data in our ERP. Develop a global data governance model that will document and establish data creation, data standards, and data maintenance. This role will evolve into driving greater standardization of Invoice to Cash activities across our global sites.


Key Responsibilities


Assist with data strategy, data mappings, develop data standards, and data governance


  • Identify and remove roadblocks, make optimal usage of resources both internal and external
  • Lead a Master Data team
  • Analyze data quality
  • Key resource to lead the global centralization of key master data management
  • Identify, support, or manage process improvement initiatives
  • Audit data and facilitates resolution
  • Identify opportunities to drive greater standardization of Invoice to Cash activities across sites
  • Own Master Data documentation
  • Create and manage functional and technical specifications for master data


Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Exceptionally well organized, flexible, and easily adaptable to changing conditions.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and help blend the integration of teams across different cultures
  • Excellent written and oral communication and delivery skills.
  • Excellent business partnering and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Customer, Vendor, Price, and Item Master Data
  • Willing to travel ~25% of the time.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities.
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure situations to meet deadlines.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop teams across all sites.
  • Experience Master Data management


Competencies Required


  • Takes accountability for delivering commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Displays willingness to make decisions, and more importantly, owns the decision and works through outcomes.
  • Pro-active approach and leadership style with complete professional proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately communicate to all levels of our business.
  • JDE experience is preferred
  • Experience in Master Data Management
  • Willingness to travel, and work within an office setting as needed
  • Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.
  • Holds self and others accountable for specific deliverables and continuously raises the bar in terms of quality of work-products delivered.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5 years of related experience & certification and training.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Demonstrates resiliency in the face of change; able to work independently while handling multiple projects.
  • Experience with aligning to culture change and change management initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with experience working with Private Equity desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, communicating technical and business concepts to a global employee population using the appropriate communication style.
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or certification and relevant experience in Project Management.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
