Marketing & Events Intern Jobs

We are looking for an enthusiastic Summer Marketing Intern to join our marketing department and provide support to the Marketing team. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and events execution, and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Key outputs and deliverables:

• Assist in updating and maintaining GS1 platform.
• Help organize marketing assets & materials.
• Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Performing market analysis and research
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials and newsletters.
• Manage and update company database.
• Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

Requirements:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or related field
• Experience in event planning and coordination is an asset.
• Available to work evenings and weekends as required (for events)
• Available to work full-time for a minimum of three months.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
• Prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
