Our Marine Operations Team in St. John's, NL is now looking for a Marine Operations Engineer.
What will you be doing?

• Specifying and technically evaluating the supply of Marine/ROV equipment, rigging, and vessels
• Delivering rigging designs, hydrostatic stability analysis, motions, and mooring analysis
• Preparing marine designs, technical reports, method statements, and procedures for the execution of marine and/or subsea operations in a safe and systematic manner
• Participating in design and gate reviews as well as operational risk assessments
• Interfacing and collaborating with team members, other project disciplines, contractors, and marine warranty surveyors
• Planning and executing scaled model testing and marine simulations
• Ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with all relevant procedures, rules, regulations, codes, standards, and specifications
• Supporting procurement activities and follow-up on 3rd party subcontractor equipment and deliverables
• Providing on-site & offshore technical support as required during work-up, mobilization and demobilization, readiness planning, and execution of marine operations

We Think You Should Have

• An engineering degree, preferably in a Mechanical discipline, Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering, with registration as a P.Eng with PEGNL
• An ability to travel locally, nationally or internationally as required for work scope planning and execution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is mandatory
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an integrated project team
• 5+ years previous experience in a similar role requiring knowledge of marine analysis and design work, operational planning, producing reports and method statements related to marine design engineering in support of marine operations activities
• Proficiency with OrcaFlex or similar software is considered an asset
