Job Description

Do you want to be part of an amazing team of practitioners?! We are seeking a Manual Osteopath to join our busy wellness clinic. Back Be Nimble Wellness Collective is a well-established multidisciplinary clinic located in south Edmonton. We have been in business for almost 20 years and have a beautiful new clinic space in the Sprucewoods Business Park. We currently offer Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Manual Osteopathy, and Therapeutic Counselling and are planning on expanding into Physiotherapy in the future!


We pride ourselves on providing the best in holistic client care and we are looking for an experienced Manual Osteopath to provide treatments for our clients on a locum basis to cover a maternity leave. This opportunity does have the potential to extend beyond the locum period!

CONTRACT DESCRIPTION

  • Facilitate treatment transition for existing osteo clients while our current practitioner is on maternity leave
  • Ensure all safety, infection prevention, quality and environmental procedures and rules are in place and implemented
  • Maintain client records
  • Help maintain a clean and inviting clinic environment
  • Create treatments and strategies for client wellness
  • Full-time hours available
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress
  • Provide exceptional therapeutic service
  • Work within a multidisciplinary environment to manage client health & facilitate collaboration when appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional liability insurance
  • Passion for your work, and for health & wellness
  • Highly reliable and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently, but also function well within a team
  • Proficient in standard Manual Osteopathic approaches, including craniosacral, visceral manipulation, osteoarticular and advanced fascial release
  • Commitment to personal & professional development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Registered and licenced to practice in the Province of Alberta and the City of Edmonton
  • Manual Osteopathy certificate/diploma from a recognized educational facility


Preference will be given to practitioners who:

  • Are registered with an association recognized by extended health benefits
  • Have experience in visceral manipulation/digestive related treatments
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing manual osteopathic treatments
