Job Description

Our client in the mental health sector is seeking Manager, Youth Wellness Hubs.The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and high-quality service delivery of designated Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario(YWHO) through direct and indirect supervision of a multidisciplinary team of staff and service providers. Also, responsiblefor engaging and overseeing the partner agencies who work within our integrated service delivery model as well as collaborating on developing and managing new and existing partner/ stakeholder relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Lead or co-lead monthly or bi-monthly meetings with the service providers to improve service pathway experience and achievement of outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision to employees on a weekly, biweekly, monthly or ad hoc basis, including exploring transference/countertransference, skills development, use of self, and self-reflection.
  • Liaise with the different agencies on an ongoing basis to ensure the proper delivery of the various core components of the model, including mental health service and support, intake, primary care, peer, support, and care coordination.
  • Review hub services and explore, formalize, and orient new partnerships and programs into the hub to enhance programming available to clients and their families.
  • Assist staff in complex service situations, including assessing for and safety planning for high-risk situations.
  • Provide oversight of the programs to ensure excellent service delivery and supports that meets the vision of theintegrated service model, including related legislative requirements.
  • Develop, enhance, innovate and implement the organization’s Youth Wellness Hub programming to ensure high-qualityservice delivery to the community that meets the legislation/ accreditation standards/ ministry expectations.
  • Recruiting and retaining qualified, skilled staff to deliver high-quality mental health services to clients and families.
  • Create and maintain formal and informal partnerships to enhance the wraparound support for the clients that access Youth Wellness Hubs.
  • Promote positive labour relations through the appropriate application of the Collective Agreementarticles.


Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the importance of developing and maintaining partnerships.
  • 2 years of supervision experience.
  • Good standing with an acceptable regulatory body that can practice and supervise psychotherapy (e.g.,OCSWSSW or CRPO).
  • 3 years of experience providing community-based direct service, including program planning and implementation.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling/ Mental Health, Psychology, or other related discipline.
  • Registered certification in other relevant professional associations.
  • Knowledge and application of different supervision models; Interdisciplinary supervision.
  • Knowledge of the organization's mission, mandate, objectives, strategic priorities, policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Experience with oversight of an integrated service delivery mode
  • Expertise in evidence-informed practice (models of practice).
