Job Summary:


Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Belleville, ON, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team on a Contract/Temp basis. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime by detecting, troubleshooting, and repairing irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance work, execute preventive maintenance programs, and utilize their strong electrical and mechanical skills to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing facility.


Detailed :


  • Demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical skills to ensure effective equipment maintenance.
  • Install, repair, and overhaul machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and plan/execute preventive maintenance programs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain general plant and equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Possess a working knowledge of computers, electronics, and PLC training.
  • Utilize available CMMS system for tracking work performed.


Candidate's Profile:


  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically to solve technical issues.
  • Working knowledge of computers, electronics, and PLC training.
