Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician / Millwright to join our team and provide general maintenance and repair services for our facility. The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of preventative and reactive equipment maintenance as well as equipment troubleshooting and any production or maintenance projects. Including electrical components of the machines. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for responding to emergency maintenance requests and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities


  • Inspect and diagnose equipment failures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining maintenance documentation/files
  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Set and adjust presses/machines as required
  • Obtain quotes and provide cost breakdowns associated with equipment repairs and supplies requirements
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Provide technical project support, such as new equipment installations, facility enhancement, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Provide assistance for complex CIP implementation as identified.
Qualifications


  • Fluent or Bilingual in French/English ( Asset )
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Minimum 2 years in a production environment with press operations involving multiple set ups
  • Some experience in Welding/MIG/TIG/Torch cutting ( Asset)
  • Basic education or technical training in Mechanics, Industrial electronics, and Hydraulics
  • High school diploma
  • Experience working at heights with necessary fall restraint training
