SCHEDULE:

Day shift; Monday to Thursday; 7:30am to 5:30pm

Overtime paid for Fridays, Weekends and Holidays worked

Company Vehicle available for business related travel and tools provided.

Eligible forEducation Assistance Program after 6 months of employment, that includes 3 study visits to the USA along with other on-job training and certification opportunities.

A leading Industrial Gas supplier inRedwater, Albertais seeking a Maintenance Technician for the micro-bulk gas operation. The Maintenance technician handles the assembly/disassembly of rotating equipment, pumps and compressors across northern Alberta.

Experience working with atmospheric/cryogenic gases and related equipment is a major asset. Knowledge of welding, electrical maintenance, or PLCs, combined with post-secondary education in any of the related disciplines or Journeyman status in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Maintenance are all definite assets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to manage contractor relationships and coordinate project objectives
• Troubleshoot electronic and computer operated controls, troubleshoot rental equipment and inventory of parts
• Represent the company to external stakeholders in a professional manner
• Ability to repair and replace bearings, gears, seals, and structural components
• Strong computer literacy: able to manage the Computerized Maintenance Systems
• Ability to work with pumps, gearboxes, compressors, knowledge ofcryogenic technologies, and calibrate equipment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions of a technical nature and prepare technical reports
• Able to complete reports, read mechanical and electrical schematics
• Able to plan and implement the maintenance activities including parts ordering and inventory management
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot the rotating equipment and their mechanical parts: compressors, pumps, blowers and valves
• Follow safety instructions and reduce risks related to daily work routine
