Maintenance Mechanic Jobs

There is an immediate opening for the following position at the Windsor plant. This is a full-time position and will require flexibility with hours and shift work.
Duties And Responsibilities

• General cleaning of machines
• Upkeep of plant and machinery, completion of service checks as per prepared checklists
• Work safely and efficiently to maximize machinery up time
• Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and equipment and specifically to CNC Mills: Spindle Bearings, Levelling and Calibrations, Hydraulics/Pneumatics
• Assist with regular inspections of lift magnets, lift truck, overhead cranes etc.
• Operate a variety of machinery and equipment including but not limited to: Bridgeport, Lathe, Overhead Cranes, and Forklift
• Assist with maintenance projects/breakdowns

Qualifications

• 5 years' work experience in manufacturing
• Basic operations and programming of CNC Mills
• Strong work ethic, positive team attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Electrical, Electronics, Overhead Crane and Lift truck experience an asset
• Blueprint/Electrical Schematics Reading
• Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery and equipment
• Ability to understand and assist in diagnoses of mechanical problems
