Job Description
We have a Machine/tool assembly technician position available with my client, which might interest you. I am contacting you on behalf of Consortium Staffing Solutions, we are a recruitment firm and fulfil all staffing needs for our clients. Location: Markham(Intersection Woodbine Ave & 14th Ave)
Job type: Full-time Permanent.
Wage: up to $25/hr (Based on Experience) Days: Monday to Friday Timing: 8 am to 5 pm

Job Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand technical/schematic drawings, understand, and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
  • Possess or have access to tools relative to trade.
  • Precision alignment & set up of mechanical components.
  • Installation of pneumatic actuators, valving & related components.
  • Assemble machines as per specification.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, & modify tooling as required.
Skills Required
  • General machining.
  • Skills in using milling machine, lathe and hydraulic assembly are also an asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, enthusiasm, and eagerness to work overtime and a willingness to travel when required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other technicians.
