Come and be part of a dedicated team of laser machine operators in a newly refurbished shop in Paris, Ontario. You will have the opportunity to operate laser machines to cut metal for clients in industries such as steel, automotive and agricultural. You will be joining the day shift crew and your training will be on the day shift. Advancement opportunities should be available to you once more experience is gained.
Job Title: Machine Operator Laser
Location: Paris, Ontario
Pay rate: $25/hour
Shift: Days
Hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
Job responsibilities as a laser machine operator:

• Perform calculations on steel, aluminum and stainless steel
• Work with precision measuring tools
• Blueprint reading and understanding drawings
• Perform minor maintenance

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?

• Experience operating a laser machine
• Experience with a laser machine in the steel industry is an asset
