Grinder Operator - Machine Operator

We are looking for individuals in the skilled trades discipline for our Blanchard Grinder Machine in Cambridge, Ontario. We have multiple shifts available at this time.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Work safely and assist in other departments as assigned
• Read micrometers and interpret blueprints
• Operate hand grinder/tools
• Set up and operate Blanchard Grinder
• Maintain quality requirements, produce quality products and stay on schedule
• Material handle using lift truck and overhead crane

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills: Blueprint reading required, familiarity with reading micrometers
• Previous Blanchard Grinding, lift truck and overhead crane experience an asset
• Attention to detail/quality and effective problem solving skills required
• Good organizations skills required
• Team oriented with ability to take initiative
• Basic computer skills required
