Job Description
Are you a night owl with experience working in Food & Beverage? We have just the job for you!


Shambhala Music Festival is now looking to fill a last-minute opening as an overnight Supervisor at our lemonade outlet, Pucker Up Lemonade! This position works nightly between July 19-23 on our festival site near Salmo, BC.

The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Manager in performing their duties; organizing and executing the successful operation of Pucker Up Lemonade, leading to a quality beverage experience and top notch product for our thirsty guests!


Responsibilities Include:


  • Pick up roll call sheet at Payroll office before shift and return to Payroll at end of shift
  • Communicate effectively with Food and Beverage Manager in the absence of the Pucker Up Manager
  • Maintain the roll call sheet accurately
  • Count and divide tips evenly for all staff at the end of each shift and distribute
  • Work with cashiers to maintain accurate records and tender amounts
  • Motivate team to up-sell products
  • Fluent use of Radio
  • Ensure crew receive regular breaks and meals
  • Account for any damaged or spoiled stock on your shift
  • Oversee preparation and restocking of all menu items
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional workspace
  • Understand the limits of the site and work within the parameters


Qualifications:


  • Flexible and able to respond to changes in working conditions
  • Foodsafe Certification an asset
  • Effective management skills and training ability; can delegate tasks and motivate workers
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing
  • Outgoing, friendly, and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to foresee and trouble-shoot potential issues, making recommendations to increase efficiency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in Food & Beverage and Cash Management
  • Patient performing repetitive tasks
  • Previous experience working in a Festival setting an asset
  • Excellent communicator. Able to interact effectively with all levels of chain of command
  • Courteous, competent and persuasive with a proven ability to handle stressful situations
  • Comfortable working long shifts, early mornings, and outdoors
  • A committed individual and self-motivating
