THE ROLE:


As Leasing Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our Eastern Leasing team with respect to the preparation of leasing documentation, performance reports, marketing material, transactional data entry, and overall analysis for various retail and mixed-use properties. Reporting to the Senior Director, Leasing, you will be a key member of the team and have a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make an impact while supporting our tenants.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Tracking of all assignments, lease expiries, option dates, and condition precedents.
  • Assist in the completion of quarterly supplemental package submitted to Senior Management.
  • Prepare fact sheets and marketing packages to ensure all valuable marketing information is readily available.
  • Support the preparation of annual leasing budgets and reforecast throughout the year.
  • Responsible for researching and developing strategic mapping systems used for internal analysis.
  • Support leasing transaction data entry; Enter and track deals in View the Space (VTS) system.
  • Ensure tenant possession dates are met.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews and updates of the portfolio on the FCR website.
  • Participate in special projects and take on other duties, as assigned.
  • Create and maintain Leasing site plans and property portfolio binders using Adobe Illustrator software.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing general correspondence, preparation of expense reports, and preparing various meeting materials.
  • Prepare leasing documentation and lease summaries.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain up-to-date aerial and ground photos database for all Eastern properties.


WHAT YOU BRING:


  • Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Business, or related field.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of previous related experience. Commercial real estate industry knowledge and exposure are a bonus!


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:


  • You are fully bilingual in French and English.
  • Experience with VTS, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Map Point is an asset.
  • You are highly analytical with the intuitiveness for learning new applications; you take any opportunity to learn new skills.
  • Well-developed presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across all levels within and outside the organization.
  • A team-player; you are willing to step in and lend a hand as needed and identify the opportunities to do so.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to coordinate multiple, competing priorities and deadlines.
