Job Description

Overview:

Our client is seeking an entry level individual (1-2 years experience) to join their team in the development of training materials for their employees. You will work closely with internal subject matter experts to produce engaging and user-friendly online training modules. To be successful in this role, you should possess knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models, and have experience in conducting learning needs assessments.



Description:

  • You will be responsible for developing static and interactive media, adhering to established format and style standards, and supporting the implementation, evaluation, and modification of training programs within our learning management system.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to gather feedback and develop outlines and storyboards.Your tech-savvy nature will be required in creative and technical problem-solving, as well as design ideation.


Requirements:

  • You should have post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience, and a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP)™ professional designation is an asset.
  • You should be able to drive training development with SMEs, communicate effectively, and maintain relationships.
  • The ideal candidate should have a positive and curious attitude, and be willing to learn and utilize new tools and techniques.
  • Additionally, you should have an intermediate skill level in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and Articulate 360, with at least one year of experience supporting an LMS and an understanding of SCORM.
  • Additional skills that are good to have include video production, animation, motion design, video editing, bilingualism in French and English, and experience designing within WCAG guidelines.
