Lead Receiver Jobs

Fountain Tire's Saskatoon Distribution Centre is looking for an experienced, safety conscious associate to join our team as a Lead Receiver. This position requires an individual who is able to take initiative and responsibility for the receiving for the whole distribution centre if necessary.

Pay $19.50-$21.50 based on experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspecting and ensuring quality control;
• Support the entire warehouse team in other duties such as order picking, administration duties, shipping, etc.
• Supervise the receiving operations of the distribution centre with the goal of
• Coordinate the processing of incoming products, including scheduling delivery appointments Limiting any storage or demerge charges.
• Perform inventory checks and inquires as needed and when requested.
• Responding to any receiving discrepancies in a timely manner, to ensure claims are accounted for and accepted by the vendor.
• Contact carriers for empty trailer pickups in a timely manner to avoid extra charges from the vendor for exceeding allotted drop time.
• Under the guidance of the warehouse supervisor and manager, rotate stock in an efficient manner to align with stock fluctuating stock levels.
• Controlling inventory accurately to minimize any inventory value variances or discrepancies;
• Unloading product in a fast and efficient way;

Qualifications

• Tire Industry experience an asset
• Warehouse experience required
