Our client is now looking for a highly motivated, hardworking, Land Development - Senior Project Engineer/Senior Project Manager who is interested in working for a company with great advancement opportunities. If you have technical land development experience, along with a drive to learn and you’re looking to grow with a well-established engineering solutions company, then you may be our next Senior Project Engineer/Senior Project Manager. Land Development - Senior Project Engineer/Senior Project Manager As a Senior Land Development Project Engineer/Project Manager, you will maintain and build on the great reputation of the company and team. You will have the opportunity to apply your civil engineering and project management skills on projects that matter. You will be interacting with clients daily, managing budgets, ensuring projects are being completed on time, and working collaboratively with other departments. Practically speaking you will: * Management of project resources, budgets, and deliverables. * Preparation and/or coordination of winning proposals for land development services. * Serve as primary contact for key land development clients. * Leading/managing the development of preliminary and detail designs, development agreements and approvals, and construction specifications and tender documents for land development projects. * Providing direction to project engineers, EITs and project designers in maintaining quality of work. Additionally, you’re a good fit for this role if you are: * Independent – you don’t need or want someone looking over your shoulder. You’re always results-oriented and keep tabs on different projects with ease. * Cooperative – while you excel on your own, that doesn’t stop you from being a team player that communicates openly and effectively across teams. You treat everyone with respect because you’re invested in maintaining strong work relationships. * Organized – you are able to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor activities and projects. The Details: This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9:00 – 5:00 PM. Our client offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits plan, RRSP matching, and vacation. What You’ll Bring * Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng. with PEO) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. * 5 years of Civil/Municipal Engineering experience, in a lead engineer and/or project management role. * Strong competency in land development and related infrastructure design. * Familiarity with and experience applying municipal design standards in southern Ontario, TAC Geometric Design Guidelines, MECP Environmental Compliance Approvals and Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications. * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
