Job Purpose
Support operators and supervisors to work safely and efficiently by cleaning the site, moving materials, and performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment. Daily responsibilities require manual labour and must be done carefully at all times. Labourers may also operate equipment like rock trucks and packers. Worksites are located throughout Western, Canada with a specific focus on Pipeline Integrity Digs, Demolition and Remediation and Reclamation projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Experience in oilfield waste management, heavy equipment and valid industry safety tickets are an asset.
• Capable of operating small equipment such as skid steer, packer, loader and rock trucks
• Working with hand tools, moving materials on the construction site, generally assisting other workers in completing their work
• Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol.
• Some heavy lifting and physically demanding duties.
• The safe and effective operation of Heavy Equipment in the completion of various projects throughout western, Canada.
• Cleaning of construction sites, performing routine maintenance on tools/equipment, loading and unloading equipment.

Qualifications/Competencies
The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to work variable shifts & hours
• Must be reliable, mature, punctual, motivated
• Strong detail orientation with computer skills
• Reliable communication and customer service skills
• Can work well as a team member or independently with little direction
• Work and travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation
• H2S Alive & First Aid
• Must have steel toe work boots; other personal safety gear is an asset
