About The Role

Reporting

The Junior System Analyst reports directly to the IT Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform regular updates/upgrades to various servers, applications and network devices.
• Maintain data center and monitoring equipment.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
• Respond to and resolve help desk escalations.
• Monitor system performance and preemptively addressing concerns.

Qualifications

• Physically able to life and move equipment.
• A diploma, certificate, or degree in a related technical field.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and an active driver's license since multiple sites are involved.
• Networks skills related to TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and Active Directory.
• Ability to coach and provide end user training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis in customer service, including experience handling difficult customers and conflict resolution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in similar role.
• Working experience with Window Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• Experience/knowledge with Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure is an asset.
• Experience/knowledge with Bomgar, Lansweeper Ticket system, Office 365 is an asset.
• Working experience and prior training with VMWare.
