Your role with us:

Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Product Support, the Junior Project Engineer-in-Training, Product Support will be responsible for SolidWorks part and assembly modelling and drafting in accordance with internal standards, creating product documentation and supporting Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities, as well as assisting in creating 3D printed parts. The Junior Project Engineer-in-Training, Product Support will provide technical support to internal and external customers ensuring the appropriate application of products while displaying excellence in customer service and professional corporate representation.

You will bring to the role:

• Demonstrated Project Management experience is a strong asset.
• Up to 5 years of design and drafting experience working with SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis software.
• Understanding of drilling rig terminology, layout, and operations and experience working with API standards (with a focus on API 8C, RP 5B, 5L, 5CT, 7-1, 7-2), is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and registration with APEGA (EIT) is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
