Junior Litigation Associate

We are an up and coming firm located in Markham, looking for a junior litigation associate looking to join our growing firm and build their career with us.

Primary areas of practice are Civil Litigation and Employment, though you will gain exposure to other areas of law.

Duties include:

-Running litigation files under the guidance of the Partners at the firm;

-Assisting Partners with their own litigation practice;

-Legal drafting of pleadings, motion materials, and other material;

-Legal research;

-Attending Court and making submissions;

-Negotiating and advocating on behalf of clients; and

-Other tasks as needed to run a successful civil litigation practice.

Must be called to the Bar and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Experience in Civil Litigation is an asset.
