Junior Full Stack .Net Developer

Job Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Junior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum team to develop our industry leading Applied Epic software product using C#, React, TypeScript, and SQL Server, as well as maintain or enhance legacy features using VB.NET. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum team members to deliver high quality technical solutions that answer our clients’ business requirements. We are looking for developers to deliver clean, well-written, enterprise scale applications.
What You'll Do

• Operate within defined standards and procedures
• Become a dedicated participant of your agile scrum team
• Collaborate with other members on the Agile Scrum team to self-manage feature development to completion
• Collaborate with other developers on technical solutions
• Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
• Participate in sprint reviews of completed functionality at the end of each sprint
• Manage multiple projects using organizational/planning skills

What You’ll Need To Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:

• Ability to work 100% remotely, or from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Skilled troubleshooting and research abilities
• Proven technical abilities
• Familiar with Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum or Kanban using tools like Jira and Confluence
• Experience in leveraging cloud environments (e.g., GCP, Azure) and open-source tools

• Ability and willingness to be part of a high-functioning team
• 1-3+ years’ professional experience creating enterprise software using C#, .NET, TypeScript, React or Angular or Vue, SQL Server, and Visual Studio
• Possess an excellent work ethic and able to deliver solutions in committed timeframes

Additionally, You May Have

• Experience with Gitlab, Cypress, Go, Angular, Kubernetes, and containerization
• Unit testing/automation testing
