Must haves

5+ years’ experience as a software developer focused on C# development in .Net framework/core

Must have at least 5 years of working with Classic ASP

Working experience working with large enterprise applications and distributed systems

Experience with Angular

Proficient in version control systems (e.g. Git)

Ability to perform code reviews in collaboration with other team members

Familiarity working in an agile/scrum environment

Excellent communicator, self-motivated team player, with exceptional problem solving skills and attention to detail

Plusses

Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud technologies

Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack developer to join a growing software company located in Concord, Ontario. The Full Stack developer will play a crucial role in the development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of clients' applications, encompassing both back-end and front-end development. The current application is built using Classic ASP, and the goal is to gradually transition to .NET in the future. Working closely with a small team alongside the lead developer, the Full Stack developer will design and create software based on project requirements, tackling complex issues collaboratively with team members to devise optimal solutions. They will be responsible for code reviews, offering feedback to peers, and troubleshoot and resolve issues where needed to ensure the smooth functionality of the applications. Maintaining comprehensive documentation for software applications will be part of their duties to aid in project comprehension and future reference. Overall, the role calls for a versatile developer capable of excelling in both front-end and back-end tasks, cooperating effectively in a team environment, and delivering quality software solutions to meet the clients' needs.
