Java Developer

Therefore, as a Java Developer you will oversee the developing and designing of web interfaces (APIs) and back-end services in Java and MySQL environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage with an agile team that includes web developers, QA analysts, and product owner
• Develop white box testing at the unit, integration, and system level
• Expand the knowledge of the team
• Participate in the choice of technologies used and challenge what seems imperfect
• Develop and design web interfaces (APIs) and back-end services in a Java and MySQL environment
• Conduct code reviews to ensure that the team meets its own coding standards
• Contribute to maintenance tasks and infrastructure improvements on a large, complex, pre-existing computer programming project

Education and certifications:

DEC or Bachelor's Degree in Tech./B.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of work experience in a similar role
• Solid understanding and knowledge of Java web programming

· Strong experience in web development and object-oriented programming.

· Experience with MySQL databases.

· Knowledge of HTTP protocol and REST architecture

· Working knowledge of GIT and agile development concepts

· Good communication skills in French and English

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with front-end development including JavaScript/ECMAScript ES5 +, JavaScript ES5/jQuery, JSP/Apache Struts, VueJS/Flutter, Apache Tomcat, Kubernetes, Continuous Integration.

· Understanding of Clean Coding and similar methodologies.

· Knowledge of RESO (Real Estate Transaction Standards)
