Position: Java with Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities:

As a Java with Mainframe Developer, you'll play a crucial role in the success of our client's projects:

• Provide technical expertise to product-aligned teams and design Mainframe application components to fulfill project requirements for feature enhancements, break fixes, and small enhancements.
• Design and build complex Mainframe applications, showcasing your hands-on experience.
• Deliver high-quality designs, collaborating effectively with key stakeholders, and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Demonstrate technical prowess in Mainframe technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, and specialized C4 Documentation.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Mainframe tools such as Changeman.
• Leverage your experience in Mainframe application development using VSAM and DB2 data sources.

Requirements:

• Experience with Mainframe application development utilizing VSAM and DB2 data sources.
• Adaptability to a hybrid work model - remote work and onsite collaboration in Mississauga, ON.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to address challenges.
• Proficiency in Cobol, JCL, CICS, and C4 Documentation, illustrating your technical depth.
• Proven ability to design and build complex Mainframe applications.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Mainframe technologies.
• Strong communication skills for seamless collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
