We are looking for an IT Specialist possessing a business-oriented mindset who can guide the future development of how we store, manage and ultimately use data throughout our business. The ideal candidate understands how the tools and processes behind data management ultimately drive the business intelligence that informs key decision makers. - 5+ year(s) experience in data coordination, data managements, and data analysis
- A strategic, business oriented mindset with a strong understanding of how to use information to optimize key strategic and day-to-day decisions.
- 5+ years of experience with work with databases, data procedures, and data administration
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Crystal reports and a Citrix environment are an asset
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, information systems, or information technology
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement
- Familiarity with database design and current technologies

- Manage the third party network administrator to schedule system backups/reboots/cleanups and preventative maintenance of system components
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Provide IT orientation to new users
- Manage IT-related projects and installs
- Manage and maintain clear documentation on IT assets
- Assist with workstation setup and furniture sourcing and allocation
- Design customized computer generated reports
- Establish standardized procedures and train others to execute
- Ensure that all components of the IT system are available and operational when required by system users. In case of systems failure, the IT Coordinator makes systems available again with the least possible delay
- Advise CFO on network security measures and other matters requiring management attention or disclosure
- Manage and coordinate month end and year end database backups
- Manage the overall IT strategy and IT infrastructure of all business locations
- Provide management with reporting on IT project status
- Manage requests for IT assistance by identifying priority.
- Ensure quality, as outlined in our Quality Manual, is inherent in all tasks performed
- Ensure all tasks are performed with the highest regard for safety, as outlined in our Safety Manual
- Ability to understand, troubleshoot and provide timely solutions for basic office equipment malfunctions (printers, scanners, monitors, desktop computers, laptops, and phones)
- Capable of adapting to and learning new software applications
- Initiative in decision-making and problem solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office and Crystal Reports
- Project Management experience or education preferred
- Experience working with a diverse group of internal and external teams and partners
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to act as a liaison between the external IT Network Administrator and the internal IT users
- The ability to organize information and communicate or store it so it is useful to others
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role working in an office environment and using office equipment
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Exchange Server & Citrix preferred
- Ability to listen to, understand, and resolve IT requests from users in a timely basis
- Continually upgrade IT knowledge through courses and research
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Bachelor Degree in a related discipline, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems & Network Administration, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently
