Job Description
Inventory Receiver in Burlington
We are currently seeking an Inventory Receiver who will be responsible for the accurate and seamless processing of oncoming shipments. The ideal candidate will be proactive in learning new processes, and must be able to work in a fast paced environment. We are seeking highly detail oriented individuals who would like to continue in a position in this capacity for a maternity leave contract of 12-18 months.

Responsibilities
  • Print daily commercial invoices, send to forwarders and file
  • Process all incoming receipts and maintain accurate records for reporting and
  • Receive incoming warehouse receipts and verify item quantity etc.
  • Print daily receiving invoices and file
tracking
  • Other department duties as required
  • Prepare and distribute weekly inventory reports
  • Create purchase orders against supplier invoices
  • Customer support for other departments to assist with problems solving
Qualifications
  • Operational understanding of Excel
  • Strong organizational and record keeping/filing skills
  • Inventory and purchasing experience would be an asset
  • An ability to function in a fast paced multitasking environment
  • Good problem solving skills
  • A minimum of high school education and computer literacy skills is required
  • Exposure to SAP operating system would be an asset
