This is a great opportunity to join the growing FSH Design Consulting Team. FSH Design is a multi-faceted Management and Design Company with its roots from 1997 but was re branded and consolidated under the brand that it is today in the year 2007.
With a wide array of disciplines, our core focus within the Canadian arm includes Management Consultancy, Branding, Website Design, Digital marketing, Custom IT Solutions, Architecture and Interior Design.

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our clients, consultants, and contractors for both in-house and external projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including commercial, retail and residential spaces, ensuring each project meets the client's vision and design objectives. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong conceptualization skills, and a deep understanding of interior design drawings, principles and trends.
Responsibilities:
· Meet with clients to determine project requirements, goals, and budget.
· Develop design concepts and presentations, including mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings.
· Select and source materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes to create cohesive design schemes.
· Create detailed interior design plans, including space planning, layout, and elevations.
· Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
· Provide guidance and direction to junior designers and support staff, as needed.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and timelines.
· Attend client meetings, site visits, and construction walkthroughs to ensure design intent is achieved.
Requirements:
· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
· A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Interior Designer
· Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
· Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in design documentation
· Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and materials
· Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
