Job Description
Responsibilities


  • Engine Ground Run (EGR) Simulator Instructor (A320, A330, A220-100/300, A330-200/300/200F, B777-200LR/300ER/F and B767- series (CF680)
  • Classroom preparation to suit training requirement for in-person learning or remote training.
  • Develop a variety of approaches and training materials, as appropriate, in order to address different learning requirements aligned with the respective training delivery.
  • Establish effective methodology for testing students understanding of training material deliverables.
  • A320 (V2500, CFM56), A220-100/300 (PW1500G), A330-200/300/200F (RR Trent700, CF6), and B777-200LR/300ER/F (GE90), B767- Series (CF680)
  • Instruct clients in the safe, effective and efficient maintenance, operation, inspection, and/or troubleshooting of airframe and powerplant systems.
  • Administering course examinations in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical courseware development / revision, as required for Level 1/2/3 Type courses:
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records of student enrollment and achievements and any other records as required.
  • Instructional duties, in accordance with established procedures, including:


Qualifications


  • Able to work on their own or within a team.
  • Experience with aviation regulations pertaining to aviation training
  • Type approved on Boeing and\or Airbus commercial aircraft ( B777-200LR/300ER/F ( GE90), A320 (V2500, CFM56), A220-100/300 (PW1500G), A330-200/300/200F (RR Trent700, CF6), A340-500/600 (RR Trent500), and A380 (EA GP7200) for Airframe and Powerplant combinations as applicable and possess equivalent certifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified in Instructional Techniques for the Virtual Classroom.
  • Minimum of 10 years aviation maintenance experience.
  • Experience with working within a multicultural fast paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work legally in Canada
  • Qualified/experience in delivering Engine Ground Run Simulator training for B777-200LR/300ER/F ( GE90), B767 CF 680A320 (V2500, CFM56), A220-100/300 (PW1500G), A330-200/300/200F (RR Trent700, CF6) aircraft types.
  • Computer & knowledge of internet applications (including Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience on aircraft of primary assigned program.
  • Additional Desirable Qualification/Experience:
  • Possess a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence or equivalent.
  • (including foreign Regulatory Agencies; particularly EASA and/or Transport Canada)
  • Master of Science degree or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively develop tangible goals and objectives for student development.
  • Courseware development or instructional design experience.
  • Able to promote a positive safety culture
  • Electrical and/or Avionics Systems knowledge and/or experience.
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders in English.
  • Able to direct student learning in a positive, supportive and fair learning environment
  • Must be able & willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.


RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Développer une variété d'approches et de supports de formation, le cas échéant, afin de répondre aux différentes exigences d'apprentissage alignées sur la prestation de formation respective.
  • Administrer les examens de cours conformément aux exigences réglementaires.
  • Agir en tant qu'expert en la matière (EM) pour le développement/révision de didacticiels techniques, tel que requis pour les cours de type niveau 1/2/3 :
  • Maintenir à jour et avec précision les dossiers des clients sur les inscriptions et les réalisations des étudiants et tout autre dossier, au besoin.
  • Tâches d'instruction, conformément aux procédures établies, y compris :
  • Instruire les clients de la maintenance, de l'exploitation, de l'inspection et/ou du dépannage sûrs, efficaces et efficients des systèmes de cellule et de groupe motopropulseur.


Qualifications


  • Expérience avec la réglementation de l'aviation relative à la formation aéronautique
  • Capable de travailler légalement au Canada
  • Capable de communiquer efficacement avec les parties prenantes en anglais.
  • Doit être capable et disposé à travailler selon des horaires flexibles, y compris les nuits, les week-ends et les jours fériés.
  • Posséder une licence valide de technicien d'entretien d'aéronefs de Transports Canada ou l'équivalent.
  • Capable de diriger l'apprentissage des élèves dans un environnement d'apprentissage positif, favorable et équitable
  • Connaissance et/ou expérience des systèmes électriques et/ou avioniques.
  • Informatique et connaissance des applications Internet (y compris Word, PowerPoint et Outlook).
  • Qualification/expérience supplémentaire souhaitable :
  • (y compris les agences de réglementation étrangères ; en particulier l'AESA et/ou Transports Canada)
  • Capable de développer efficacement des buts et des objectifs tangibles pour le développement des élèves.
  • Master of Science ou équivalent.
  • Expérience de travail dans un environnement multiculturel au rythme rapide
  • Homologué sur Boeing et/ou Airbus commerciaux ( B777-200LR/300ER/F ( GE90), A320 (V2500, CFM56), A220-100/300 (PW1500G), A330-200/300/200F (RR Trent700, CF6 ), A340-500/600 (RR Trent500) et A380 (EA GP7200) pour les combinaisons Cellule et Groupe motopropulseur, selon le cas, et possèdent des certifications équivalentes ou une expérience équivalente.
  • Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience sur les aéronefs du programme principal assigné.
  • Qualifié / expérience dans la prestation de formation Engine Ground Run Simulator pour B777-200LR/300ER/F (GE90), B767 CF 680A320 (V2500, CFM56), A220-100/300 (PW1500G), A330-200/300/200F (RR Trent700) , CF6).
  • Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience en maintenance aéronautique.
  • Expérience en développement de didacticiels ou en conception pédagogique.
  • Excellente présentation et compétences interpersonnelles.
  • Certifié en techniques d'enseignement pour la classe virtuelle.
