PrecisionERP is looking for Office365 Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience for our client.
Contract Duration: 1st August 2023 - 31st of December 2023
This role involves setting up and implement a robust security and governance structure for SharePoint and Microsoft Purview, including roles, responsibilities, permissions, and access controls to ensure proper management, security, and data of enterprise content. Working closely with project team, and other business stakeholders the incumbent will analyze business and IT requirements, recommend best practices for securing and efficiently content and data in SharePoint. In consultation with technical staff this role will be pivotal in developing policy, security standards for MS SharePoint and MS Purview environment. The incumbent will also provide technical support for MS SharePoint and MS Purview.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience working with SharePoint and Microsoft Purview as an administrator, analyst, or consultant, specifically in policy, and data management areas.
3. In-depth knowledge of SharePoint features, configurations, permissions, security models, data cataloging, and data classification principles.
4. Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or other data cataloging and data tools.
5. Strong understanding of enterprise content management principles, regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and data best practices.
Responsibilities/Deliverables:
1. Produce weekly status reports, broken down into daily number of hours worked and by tasks, using client's time tracking system. The reports must include reporting on work accomplished during the period and work planned for the next period. These will be printed, signed as being correct, and submitted to client by the Consultant.
2. Communicate assignment status in a timely and clear fashion to the appropriate member of the Senior Management of the IT Department and other client's management, staff and other contractors or consultants involved in related IT assignments, as appropriate to the specific assignment.
3. Provide weekly updates on deliverables and impact of proposed changes to timelines.
4. Provide formal documentation, in accordance with PMO methodologies and documentation standards.
5. Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to client's staff on system set up, configuration and support requirements.
