One of our clients in Oakville, ON is looking for Industrial Mechanic for their facility.
Shift - Days
Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance on all auxiliary Equipment
• Attend to problems with support equipment where capable
• Service Maintenance on all auxiliary Equipment
• Ensure safe work practices, and good manufacturing practices, are being followed
• Optimize Run Time / Minimize Downtimes
• Maintain a clean, efficient, safe and healthy work environment with adherence to health and safety policies and regulations
• All other responsibilities and duties, as assigned
• Respond to production problems on the floor. Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as required.

Requirements

• Requires good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and do PM on industrial robots (Wittman, Yushin and Beck)
• Practical hands on experience in all aspects of equipment repair, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and PLCs
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong electrical background would be considered an asset
• Ability to read and troubleshoot from electricals and PLCs schematics
• Certificates or licences appropriate to manufacturing industry
• Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices
• Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A)
• Ability to read and troubleshoot from hydraulics and pneumatics schematics
• Hands on maintenance skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
