Role Overview: As the IFM Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the comprehensive facilities management operations for a diverse portfolio of properties in Toronto. You will lead a team of talented professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of services, maintenance, and operational excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our clients by ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of their facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment of objectives and exceptional service delivery.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for effective facility management, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Lead and manage the IFM team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, utilizing data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in facilities management, with a track record of leading successful teams and managing complex portfolios.
- Strong understanding of IFM principles, industry best practices, and technological innovations.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP, IFMA) are highly desirable.
