To ensure public areas and public washrooms are cleaned routinely throughout the day, ensure public washrooms and pool and health club are sanitized and re-stocked at all times. Ensure hallways on each guest floor cleaned. Ensure linen rooms on each guest floor restocked. Delivery of items to guest rooms upon request.

• Must be organized and detail oriented
• 1-2 years’ experience in a housekeeping environment.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Restock linen rooms on each guest floor
• Must have working knowledge of the English language (verbal, written, reading)
• Deliver and pick up guest laundry
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer Service Skills Houseperson need proper customer service skills.
• Able to work with little supervision.
• Ensure furniture and fixtures are free of debris
• To be able to handle the daily workload according to business needs
• Throughout your shift sort linen from each linen room on guest floors
• Carry a radio and follow requests
• To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
• Empty trash and smoke receptacles
• Vacuum carpets and clean windows/doors in lobby and front entrance area
• Make sure furniture is positioned correctly
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling. Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 to 50 lbs.
• Clean and sanitize public washrooms and health club, replenish items as needed
• Deliver any items to a guest room per guest’s request
• Take deliveries from receiving to housekeeping and laundry
• Mop hard surface floors when necessary, always place wet floor warning sign
• Report all incidents, accidents and hazards immediately
• Clean and dust the lobby areas
• Clean and vacuum hallways on each guest floor

The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
