High Pressure Operator Jobs

OCL Specialty Service is currently looking for High Pressure Operators to join our growing team. Our High Pressure Operators are responsible to ensure the safe set up and execution of High Pressure washing projects throughout western Canada.
This position supports the High Pressure specialty service and we travel to the work – the majority is located in Alberta with the occasional job in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or British Columbia. Travel is paid and per diem is provided each job!

Key Responsibilities:

• Report on problems and the solutions to Management
• Ensure equipment is safe, maintained, inspected and used correctly.
• Complete field level hazard assessments
• Ensure compliance to Health & Safety and Work practices
• Report all injuries and incidents immediately to appropriate company personnel
• Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
• Live OCL’s value of DOING IT RIGHT & never compromising on safety, quality and relationship building
• Complete minor maintenance and checks on specialty equipment
• Provide quality services to our customers
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned
• Operate High Pressure equipment in various industrial atmospheres

Requirements

• Experience pulling heavy trailers will be an asset
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, attention to detail
• A self-motivated individual that requires minimum supervision and with goal and team-oriented attitude
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Have & maintain a valid drivers license, and acceptable drivers abstract
• Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
• Minimum of five (2) years’ experience high pressure water equipment and specialty tools; specifically 15K and 20K High and Low volume pumps in an industrial setting
• Flexible, willing to work long hours if required. Willing to travel.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Valid CSO, confined space, fall protection and H2S Alive ticket an asset
• Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders, as well as heavy lifting
