The Role

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will diagnose mechanical problems and repairs to equipment, and perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.

You Will

• Be willing and able to work both indoors and outdoors
• Have basic computer skills, with the ability to refer to manuals for spare parts and diagnostics
• Operate heavy duty service vehicles
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools
• Manage work/repair orders (paper and digital) for each job in a timely manner.

You Have

• A good understanding of schematics and diagrams
• 3+ years’ experience in the repair/maintenance of heavy-duty equipment
• Strong mechanical background knowledge with various engines and hydraulic systems
• Ability and willingness to work irregular shifts
• A Heavy Equipment Mechanic license (421A / 310S / 310T / 310J / 425)

• Exceptionally organized and able to deal calmly with high-pressure pressure situations
• A strong communicator with solid people skills
