Responsibilities



  • Track and record all inventory transfers, REQ’s and movement of inventoried items in the storerooms
  • Provide F&B weekly deadstock lists and work to reduce product loss in accordance with hotel’s policies
  • Ensure PO’s are placed properly and timely
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with all vendors
  • Maintain and excellent working relationship with internal and external guests
  • Effectively issue approved requisitions to respective department
  • Provide training to new colleagues in Storeroom position, assist when required
  • Ensure PO’s are received properly and timely, follow up when required
  • Ensure all work areas are clean and compliant to Health and Safety standards
  • Ensure all items are being FIFO and the team is compliant with all Health and Safety regulations regarding Food and Beverage Storage
  • Maintain proper controller of the Food and Beverage storerooms in accordance with Fairmont Chateau Laurier policies and procedures
  • Provide support to other team members on a daily basis
  • Work with F&B teams to source products and obtain the best prices possible with our vendor
  • Ensure accuracy of documents required for month end
  • Facilitate interaction with delivery drivers, currieries and internal guests while maintain control of the loading dock area
  • Facilitate month end inventories for F&B areas
  • Assist team with weekly beverage order and review before submitting for purchase
  • Review and maintain F&B prices/costs in BSS systems for inventoried items
  • Create and maintain par stocks for inventoried items with the team
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Experience with BSS inventory/purchasing software
  • Significant experience in planning and coordinating store operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • Through knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
  • High school diploma required
  • Assertive, professional and positive attitude
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software and proficiency with emails
