Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a GPR Concrete Scanning Technician. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of practical experience in construction, engineering, or a related field (university field experience is fine). A valid Class 5 Drivers' License is required to operate company vehicles as necessary. Proficiency in quality report writing, coupled with strong computer skills, will be highly advantageous (examples will be requested). Candidates with prior experience in geophysical or environmental surveys, NDT or concrete testing will be considered favorably.
Responsibilities:
Conduct concrete scanning activities using advanced equipment and techniques.
Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to accurately identify and locate potential hazards within concrete structures.
Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic regulations and ensuring the proper maintenance of vehicles.
Provide technical support and expertise to project teams as required.
Assist in the analysis and interpretation of data collected during scanning operations.
Maintain accurate records, including reports and documentation, pertaining to scanning projects.
