We are looking for an for a General Labourer to join us and become part of our Arrow family in Edmonton.

Our Edmonton Reload specializes in transferring product from rail to truck and from truck to rail using overhead crane and forklift. We service key customers in the Edmonton region and are we leaders in what we do!

• Shift Monday-Friday 700am-330pm

As general labourer, you will

• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew.
• Assist with general yard clean up/maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Ability to climb ladders, throw rail cables and lift 50lbs
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Assist operators with loading and unloading railcars of steel and lumber.
• A strong safety mindset
• A positive team attitude
• Forklift operation is an asset
• Previous general labourer experience is an asset
• Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
• Assist with cleaning of equipment, cutting steel banding for package securement, monitoring disposal of items, and railcar securement.
• Work outside in the yard in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, heat, wind)
