Job Summary
Lock 8 Equipment is seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Attendant to join our team. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to operate a computer to input data into inventory management software, the ability to lift heavy objects, and some driving for pickup truck deliveries.
Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Use a computer to update inventory management software with accurate inventory levels and locations.
• Prepare inventory for shipping by packaging, labeling, and documenting items in the inventory management system.
• Pick inventory accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners.
• Put inventory away in designated locations in the warehouse.
• Perform manual labor tasks as needed.
• Operate machinery and tools as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as a forklift, to lift and restock inventory.
• Occasionally drive a pickup truck to make deliveries to customers or suppliers.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Receive inventory by checking the items against the purchase order and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical strength and endurance to perform manual labor tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
