Job Description
General Laborer


John Ross & Sons is currently seeking General Laborers to join our team in the Long Lake, Nova Scotia location. As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our expanding team.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • PPE and rain gear supplied
  • Work boot reimbursement program
  • Organize and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Sorting various materials
  • Maintain and organize inventory.
  • Own transportation considered an asset
  • Work well in a team-based environment but able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
