Vancouver Island Care is on a mission to revolutionize the senior living experience. We are charting new territories, crafting a business model that allows future residents to pool resources via a private equity fund and then shape their dream communities. We've got the drive and the vision; we only need an exceptional Private Equity Fund Manager to bring this project to life.


Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee a private equity fund's creation, management, and growth to finance senior living community developments.
  2. Design and implement financial models that maximize the fund’s potential while minimizing risk.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine investment strategies.
  4. Lead the fund’s deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and closing processes.
  5. Build relationships with investors and potential future residents.
  6. Maintain regulatory compliance and oversee reporting obligations.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  2. Proven track record managing a private equity fund.
  3. Extensive network within the financial and investment community.
  4. Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills.
  5. Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  6. Understanding of the legal complexities of private equity funds and associated regulatory compliance.
