THE ROLE:
We are a cutting-edge team engaged in designing power and performance solutions for AMD’s new MI generation of AI Compute Processing Units. The team is passionate in system management End2End on SOC with duties ranging from hardware and firmware design, pre-silicon emulation, design validation, power/perf data analysis, automation, and data modeling. Also, the team works with the latest MLSE, HPC and cloud gaming applications on Power/Perf feature design, deployment to create the most compatible product in the market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a team on developing software infrastructure including CI/CD pipeline, data-processing, automation tools/DB and performance/power modeling and predication. In this role, you will work closely with firmware and software designers, contributing to data analysis tools, ML models and CICD flow. You will get a chance to see how your work will impact on AMD AI products.
THE PERSON:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and improvements.
- Work closely with SW/FW teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end features.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve issues as they arise.
- Design, develop, and support DCGPU cluster automation and infrastructure solutions with focus on web framework, data bases and CICD pipeline.
REQUIRED SKILL:
- Experience or knowledge with backend technologies such as Python Flask and Django.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of database management, including relational and non-relational DB.
- Proven experience with modern front-end web technologies such as React, Typescript, Angular or Vue.
- Familiar with key-value stores and caches such as Redis, Memcached or RocksDB.
- Experience working in web front and back-end software including API design, stateless services, CICD pipeline design and DB services.
- Experience with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of cloud, container and virtualization technologies. (e.g., Azure, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with modern microservices architecture.
- Experience deploying and maintaining on large-scale system clusters will be an asset.
- Understanding of CICD test frameworks, methodologies, and management is an asset.
- Experience with search functionality based on Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or electrical/computer engineering
