Tipbox is a SaaS workflow platform for the film and TV industry that helps teams connect, collaborate and communicate.

We are seeking a front-end developer who is fluent in English, familiar with Jira, and has at least 4 years of expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, and GraphQL. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, and Chakra UI, and experience working with Git and agile methodologies. The position is remote, but the candidate must be authorized to work in Canada and ideally is located in or near Vancouver to facilitate occasional meetups with the team.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
• Work collaboratively with the development team to design, develop, and maintain the front-end of the Tipbox platform
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code

Qualifications

• Expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, and GraphQL
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, and Chakra UI
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working with Git and agile methodologies
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English
• 4+ years of experience in front-end development
