• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
• ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term
• HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $50 – $65/hr
• LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere (TimeZone: CST | Full day overlap)

THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements

• Experience with highly concurrent languages such as GoLang, Java or Scala
• Strong experience with React (mandatory)
• Understanding of OO design, algorithms, and data structures
• Familiarity with the Linux Operating System and command-line tools
• Familiarity with implementing e-commerce solutions is beneficial
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks (e.g. Django)
• 3+ years of experience as a Front End Engineer (mandatory)
• Aptitude to quickly learn new languages and technologies as necessary
• Experience with deployment systems (e.g. CodeShip, AWS CodeDeploy)
• Familiarity with AWS Services (e.g. RDS, Kinesis, Lambda, EC2, et cetera)

What you’ll be working on
About the Job:
Our client is looking for Front-End Engineers to join the engineering team for their engineering department. Your focus would be on building frontend experiences in React. Familiarity with backend services & technologies is a plus, particularly in Ruby on Rails and/or Golang. They have a complete CI/CD software lifecycle and an evolving services-oriented-architecture hosted in AWS. They operate in a highly collaborative environment with Product and Design to build experiences that matter to their customers. At the Company, engineers do not just write code, they actively participate in the conversation on what and how to build the systems and solutions that matter to their customers.
