Role Overview

As a Freight Broker at Loadzilla Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods for our valued clients. Your responsibilities will encompass negotiating competitive rates with carriers, coordinating and scheduling shipments, diligently tracking cargo throughout transit, and swiftly resolving any transportation-related issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both clients and carriers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Act as a proactive problem-solver, swiftly addressing any unforeseen challenges during transit.
• Efficiently schedule and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing transit time.
• Utilize cutting-edge tracking systems to monitor cargo movement, providing real-time updates to clients.
• Negotiate and secure favorable freight rates with carriers to optimize cost-effectiveness for our clients.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Logistics (Preferred)

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
