The Finisher (Polisher) is responsible for performing materials tasks assigned by Lead Hands. Prerequisites include the possibilities of work assigned in other areas on a needed basis, the willingness teach/learn grounding technique to/from others, the proven efforts to maintain work area cleanliness and the endured safety awareness/practices for self and others in the workplace. Furthermore, the finisher will ensure the quality of work by carrying out corrective actions as needed, and in reporting deviations as observed.

Essential Job functions:

• Ability to work shifts
• Responsible and reliable
• Will be trained on crane/hoist and/or forklift as required
• Written and oral aptitude in English
• Proven working experience with tools, preferably in manufacturing settings
• Physically fit
• Light to moderate lifting required
• Knowledge of sanding discs and lubricants
• Initiatives to take corrective actions
• Quality awareness combined with steady working properties

Qualifications

• Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of workday
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Ability to visibly inspect product
• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand work instructions in English
• Ability to follow work instructions and drawings in English

Day Shift 6:30am – 2:45pm Monday to Friday

Afternoon shift: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday to Friday
