Field Service Technician - Medical Devices - Contract

We are looking for a Field Service Technician that will start on a contract basis with the potential of becoming permanent. This is a Monday-Friday position, day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
• Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
• Class III driver's licence required

Required:

• Class III driver's licence required
• Bilingual French & English
• Preferred: Applicable technical or trade school training preferred
• Successful attainment of Diploma or Technical Degree
• Experience using basic mechanical, diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills, ideally with medical devices OR similar electromechanical devices
